Multinational Team brings proven simulation expertise from seven NATO nations
LONDON, UK – April 13, 2026 – By Light Professional IT Services LLC (By Light) today announced the formation of Team CATALYST, a multinational industry team positioned to compete for NATO Allied Command Transformation’s Next Generation Modelling and Simulation (NexGen M&S) Program.
Team CATALYST brings together seven companies from across the Alliance: By Light (USA/UK) as the lead partner, ETE Technology (Turkey), Thales (France), Leonardo (Italy), Slitherine (UK), Horizon Strategies (USA), and Liberty Business Associates (USA). The team combines decades of experience delivering simulation capabilities to defense organizations worldwide.
NATO’s NexGen M&S initiative seeks a unified simulation environment supporting exercises, operational planning, strategic analysis, and wargaming across all warfighting domains. The program represents one of NATO’s most significant investments in modernizing how the Alliance will train, plan, and prepare for future operations.
